Sebelum menikah dengan suami saya , dulu saya memang mempunyai hubungan pacaran dengan seorang sobat lama. Kami tidak meneruskan hubungan kami alasannya yaitu berbeda keyakinan.
Saya sudah menikah selama 5 tahun dan masih sering memikirkan mantan saya itu. Terkadang saya merasa bersalah , tapi saya tidak bisa membohongi perasaan saya.

Allah tidak menuntut tanggung jawab seseorang menyangkut apa yang tidak bisa dilakukan.
Namun demikian , kendati hati berada di “Tangan Tuhan” sehingga seseorang tidak dituntut menyangkut detak-detik yang di luar kemampuan insan , tetapi dalam ketika yang sama , insan -sedikit atau banyak- sanggup mengendalikan dorongan hatinya biar tidak larut menurutkannya.
Hati bisa menerima bisikan dari setan. Di sini insan harus bisa mengupayakan untuk mengenyahkannya.
Al-Qur’an mengingatkan bahwa , yang artinya: “sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa bila ditimpa dorongan melaksanakan keburukan dari setan , mereka ingat kepada Yang Mahakuasa , maka ketika itu juga mereka sadar.” (QS. Al- A'raf [7]: 201)
Kalau memang Anda tidak bisa mengendalikan hati Anda dan mengenyahkan bisikan setan -setelah berusaha sekuat kemampuan- maka saya berharap kiranya Yang Mahakuasa mengampuni Anda ,
tetapi jika itu semenjak semua dalam kemampuan Anda , kemudian Anda memperturutkan sehingga menjadi berat Anda kendalikan , maka saya khawatir itu akan dinilai dosa.
Saya yakin sekali bahwa perilaku Anda masih mengingat mantan pacar itu bukan berarti petunjuk Yang Mahakuasa bahwa mantan itu yaitu jodoh Anda.
Allah mustahil memberi petunjuk kepada hamba-Nya menyangkut semua yang jelek , dalam hal ini menjodohkan seorang Muslimah dengan non-Muslim.
Saya khawatir itu yaitu bisikan setan ke dalam hati Anda untuk menyebabkan Anda larut dalam perasaan Anda.
